- Company Profile
MULTIPLE UPGRADES WERE FORGED INTO ONE Seraphim redefined the high-efficiency module series by integrating 166mm silicon wafers with bifacial, multi-busbar, and half-cut cell technologies. The maximum module efficiency of the S3 bifacial half-cell series is 20%, and the maximum power output of the front side is 445W.
THE AMALGAMATION OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES
Seraphim redefined the high-efficiency module series by integrating 166mm silicon wafers with bifacial, multi-busbar, and half-cut cell technologies. The maximum module efficiency of the S3 bifacial half-cell series is 20%, and the maximum power output of the front side is 445W.
ENHANCED PERFORMANCE AND RELIABILITY
The multi-busbar improves the power generation performance of the cells, and the half-cell technology reduces losses caused by ribbon resistance, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the S3 bifacial half-cell module by more than 5%.
In addition, cutting cells in half also reduces the impact of micro-cracks and hot spot effects. The dual glass structure provides better protection of the solar cells in between, allowing for greater dual performance and reliability improvements in the S3 bifacial half-cell series.
ADDITIONAL ENERGY YIELD FROM BIFACIAL
The new series are capable of converting energy from incident light and diffused light on the front side, while converting energy from reflected light and scattered light on rear sides. Thus these modules have higher yield and superior low irradiance performance. We managed to improve the module bifaciality rate up to 70 ± 5%, resulting in a theoretical maximum power of 579W, which can significantly reduce a project’s LCOE.
