Direct Coal-Fired Hot Air Furnace

The furnace has applied many national patents, and it has been supported by the fund of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The furnace is applied for drying or calcining of daily chemical, ceramics, fertilizer, chemical industry, feed, building material, etc.

Technology principle: The raw coal is added to the coal hopper which located at the one end of the coal burner through coal feeder. The raw coal is sent uniformly by the chain grate into the combustion chamber of the coal burner for combustion. The high-temperature flue gas which is generated from combustion process is ejected from the outlet of the coal burner and enters into high-temperature gas purification room, and then doing the secondary combustion process in the purification room. A small amount of dust which entrained during the coal combustion process is polymerized and settled in the purification room and get purified. The 900℃ clean hot air which is output from the purification room is mixed with a certain quantity of cold air in mixing room to get the 100~900℃ hot air which is required for the mixing process and then enters into the drying equipment (such as spray tower, drying furnace, fluidized bed, etc.), to dry the products. The hot air temperature and the heat supply capacity can be adjusted according to process requirements.

Technical characteristics:

  • 1. Clean hot air without black smoke, high cleanliness. Thermal efficiency > 95%.
  • 2. Hot air temperature can be adjusted conveniently, and it can be adjusted arbitrarily below 1000℃.

Temperature stability of continuous hot air supply is ±5℃.
