Shandong International United Cooperation Corporation Ltd. (SIU) was established in June 2001. SIU grew out of China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Corporation (SIETC) founded in 1984. SIU’s business scope falls mainly in two aspects: a) International Labor/Service Cooperation b) Import and Export business International Labor /Service Cooperation: We have 15 years of history in labor/trainee dispatching since we sent our first trainee to Japan in 1989. We have now formed an integrated system in the recruiting, selecting, training and dispatching staffs and its afterward administration. Every year, there are about 1800 of skilled workers/trainees, technicians and talents dispatched from our company, working very lively in the enterprises in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Europe, the Middle East and other countries, winning high appraisal from receiving enterprises, JITCO and other reception organizations. SIU has its own offices in Japan and Hongkong, and business branches in Qingdao and Shanghai. At the same time, SIU set up more than 10 training bases all over the places in Shandong province. In addition, SIU has actively provided consultation service to foreign investors who intend to invest in Shandong Province and has also supplied administration persons and skilled workers to some of the foreign-owned enterprises in China. The development of the business becomes steady, thus laying a solid foundation for its further participation in the international competition. Import/Export Business In October 2002, SIU set up its Trading Department in the beautiful seaside city in Qingdao. The Trading Dept in Qingdao is a dynamic group. Members here are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional. We are familiar with the world market and have broad experience in the international trading. Our business has expanded rapidly and we now turn over at 20 Million US Dollars per year. We at SIU Qingdao Trading Dept. are efficient, ethical and honest. We are respectful to both our customers and our suppliers, and to our staff members as well. In July 2005, SIU started constructing its Training Center in the Mingshui Economic Development Zone, Zhangqiu, Shandong province. The Center, with an invested capital of 3 million US Dollars, covers an area of 114mu (1mu=6.667ares or 0.165acre). After construction, it will function not only as a center for training labors, but also as a base for processing Export Commodity.
