ISO 7854 Textile Fabrics This test, the ISO 7854, is required in the EN 343 (Rain garments) as a pretreatment for waterproof fabrics. The crumple flex tester simulates repeated flexing of a garment during use. By twisting the coated or laminated waterproof fabrics repeatedly (9000 cycles), the quality is tested. In case of low quality the fabric will no longer be waterproof after this test.
