Guangzhou Automobile Group Bus Co., Ltd. (short for GAC BUS) is a wholly owned sub-company of Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., with the registered capital 49.9 billion, covers an area of 135,000 square meters. GACBUS has a capacity to produce all kinds of buses and coaches at least 3,000 units annually and also has separate producution line for large passenger bus and light bus, specializing in large,medium and light buses from 6 to 18 meters. As a modern vehicle prodcucer cobiming the advantages from home and abroad, GAC BUS has provided over 1000 buses for Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games and the Asian Para Games including pure electric, hybrid power, BRT, obstacle-free, special vehicle, tourism. Among this buses, new energy bus as new engery city bus lines became the demonstration vehicles in Guangzhou City and the domonstration effect ranked in the forefront among 25 demonstation. This was the largest scale and the best energy-saving city bus among the second batch of national demonstration experimental cities, achieving the best high degree of recognition to all sectors of society, the Asian Games Organizing Committee, Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Guangzhou Communications Comission.
