¡¡¡¡ ¡ô Oct, 1948 Established in Fushun of Liaoning province and called as " the 5th Metallurgical Chemical Architectural General Company of Heavy Industry Ministry"

¡¡¡¡¡ôNov, 1964 Renamed to "China 5th Metallurgical Construction Corporation” and the headquarter was in North Renmin Road, Chengdu city, Sichuan province
¡¡¡¡¡ôMar, 1978 8000 employees were assigned to Shanghai to take part in the construction of Bao Steel, and established "Bao Steel MCC5 Branch Commanding Department"
¡¡¡¡¡ôMar, 1998 "Bao Steel MCC5 Branch Commanding Department” became a state-run fully-funded limited company registered in Shanghai by China MCC5, and was renamed to "Shanghai 5th Metallurgical Construction Co. Ltd." (Shortened as “SH5MCC”)
¡¡¡¡¡ôApril, 2007 The parent company "China 5th Metallurgical Construction Corporation" reformed its ownership system and was renamed to “China MCC Chenggong Construction Co. Ltd."
¡¡¡¡¡ôAug, 2007 After the reformation of the parent company, “Shanghai 5th Metallurgical Construction Co. Ltd." was renamed to “China MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye Construction Co. Ltd." (Shortened as “MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye”)

¡¡¡¡Main industry structure of Shanghai Wuye is: Metallurgical projects, architectural projects, equipment & structure manufacturing, equipment maintenance & repair work, real estate development, resource development, overseas projects and international trading etc.

3¡¢Enterprise’s Qualifications
¡¡¡¡MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye has 1st-grade general contracting qualifications for construction of metallurgical projects and architectural building projects, 2nd-grade general contracting qualification for construction of municipal public projects, and 1st-grade special contracting qualifications for foundation & basement, steel structure work, mechanical & electrical equipment erection, environmental protection work and furnaces & kilns.

4¡¢Human Resource
¡¡¡¡The total work-staff of MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye is 3500 persons, among which, there are 1955 managing & technical personnel and 1553 technical workers. There are 1491 special technical managing persons with various-level technical titles ( 9 professor-level senior engineers, 165 persons with senior technical title, 387 persons with middle technical title, 728 persons with junior technical title). There are also 128 1st-grade project managers (constructors) and 188 2nd-grade project managers (constructors).
¡¡¡¡MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye is well equipped with 1232 sets of various construction equipments. The annual production capacity of concrete is 300,000m3; the annual manufacturing capacity of steel structure is 100,000t; the total value of construction equipments exceeds 150 million RMB; the annual turnover exceeds 3 billion RMB.

¡¡¡¡MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye has been appraised as “All-China Excellent Construction Enterprise” for four times (in 1998, 2003, 2004, and 2006). It has also been appraised as “All-China Customer-satisfactory Construction Enterprise” for twice in 1999 and 2000. It was listed 2nd among top 20 installation enterprises for synthesis capability in Shanghai in 2004. It was appraised as “Shanghai Project Construction Quality Control Excellent Enterprise” in 2005. MCC Chenggong Shanghai Wuye has passed the certification of ISO9001 Quality System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System and GB/T28001-2001 HSE System.
