AVIC INTERNATIONAL BEIJING Co., Ltd. (AVIC Beijing for short) was established in 1992, and is a wholly- owned subsidiary of AVIC INTERNATIONAL Holding Corporation. The home office of the company and its subordinate companies employ nearly 5,000 people. 

After nearly two decades of healthy development, AVIC Beijing has formed two core business segments-ship business and electromechanical EPC. The ship business mainly includes ship design, trade and manufacture. The electromechanical EPC covers cement equipment projects, machinery vehicles, petrochemicals, power and so on. The company possesses the whole value chain service capabilities of engineering design, equipment integration, installation and commissioning, scene management and the like, providing complete solutions to clients.

 The company is committed to the industrialized development, possesses its own shipbuilding bases-Weihai AVIC Shipyard Co., Ltd. and Taizhou CATIC Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Ltd. with annual production capacity of 2 million DWT in total. It owns 20% shares of German KHD Humbol Wedag International AG (KHD for short), and is the largest shareholder of KHD, which is a listed company in Frankfurt Stock Exchange and a leading enterprise in the fields of cement equipment, technologies and engineering etc. in the world.

 The company has established branches or representative offices in the United States, Germany, Britain, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Cuba, Iran, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates, Greece, Vietnam, Armenia and other countries and regions, and built up an industrial park built in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
