Distributed vibration sensing technology is a distributed optical fiber sensor based on coherent Rayleigh scattering. It takes advantage of the sensitivity of optical fiber to physical quantities such as vibration, sound, deformation, etc. When different signals are applied to the sensing optical fiber from outside, the refractive index and length of the optical fiber will change slightly due to the elasto-optical effect, which will lead to the change of transmitted signals (phase, intensity, frequency) in the optical fiber.
