Wuxi Kesheng Photonics Technology Co., Ltd., located in Wuxi (Binhu) National Sensing Information Center, originated in 2007. Yongda Technology Group and Southeast University signed a contract with Southeast University at the first industry-university-research project matchmaking meeting in Jiangsu Province, and cooperated in production, education and research, and established "Dongda-Huaxia Photonics Technology Research Center" to study the new generation distributed optical fiber sensing system and network and industrial application through the close cooperation of production, education and research integration. On June 12, 2010, Dr. Tingye Li, academician of American Academy of Engineering and pioneer of WDM technology; Hu Lingyun, secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University, jointly unveiled the establishment of Wuxi Kesheng Photonics Co., Ltd. The company originally owned research and development institutions such as Dongda-Huaxia Photonics Technology Research Center and Jiangsu Distributed High-precision Optical Fiber Sensing Network Engineering Technology Research Center. In 2021, the company established Suzhou Taihu Photonics Research Institute with integration of defense and civilian technologies Center of Chinese People's Public Security University to further strengthen the research and development and application of optical fiber sensing industry.
