China International Water & Electric Corp. (CWE in abbreviation ) is a state-owned large scale enterprise under the direct jurisdiction of the central government of the People's Republic of China, engaging in contracting overseas engineering projects, implementing overseas economic aid projects provide by Chinese government, providing manpower services and handling import and export trading etc. and is under the sectoral and professional guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of Water Resources of China.
