From May 19 to 20, 2024, CCCME, together with the commerce authorities of Shanghai Municipality, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province, Guangdong Province, Heilongjiang Province, Hebei Province, Zhejiang Province and Fujian Province, organized more than 130 political and business representatives to carry out economic and trade cooperation promotion activities in Los Angeles, California, United States with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles. The activities were aimed to promote the local economic and trade exchanges between China and the U.S. under the mechanism of trade and investment cooperation between China provinces and cities and U.S. states and cities, to gain in-depth understanding of the relevant U.S. states and cities’ major concerns about the cooperation with China, and to deepen the U.S. and China’s local economic and trade cooperation.
