Industrial Internet development and Application Index White Paper (2020)

The Industrial Internet has become the core support for the digital, networked and intelligent development of the manufacturing industry, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence are the most prominent ecological changes brought about by the new generation of information technology fully integrated into the manufacturing industry, is an important cornerstone of Information revolution. However, for a long time, while the innovation and development of the Industrial Internet have been accelerating continuously, there is a lack of scientific and effective evaluation methods for the development and application level of the industrial internet in various regions and industries in China, the assessment still relies on traditional reporting and statistical means, and the data source mainly depends on statistical data such as statistical yearbook. This causes our country to be difficult to each area, each profession industrial internet development application level carries on the measurement, or the measurement scientific, the accuracy is poor. This has brought great inconvenience and perplexity to the effective decision-making of government departments at all levels, the scientific research of research units and the investment layout of related enterprises. To scientifically measure the development of China's regional and Industrial Internet and support government decision-making and industrial development, the China Academy of Industrial Internet has released a white paper on the Industrial Internet development and Application Index (2020)(hereinafter referred to as the white paper) . Based on the three dimensions of development basis, application level and economic benefit, the white paper first calculates China's regional and industrial Internet development application index based on big data, in-depth analysis of different regions and Industrial Internet integration application effect, and put forward targeted policy recommendations. The publication of "White Paper" will provide guidance for the scientific measurement of China's industrial internet innovation development and application level, and promote the development of China's industrial internet innovation in depth.
