Single Hydraulic Prop
The single hydraulic prop is constant resistance prop, working with steel roof bar to make up the safety support system in underground coal mine. The working principle includes plunger rising, initial supporting force, loading and flooding. In the process of operating, plug the injection nozzle, so the high-pressure fluid will push off the steel ball of one-way valve, and flow into the cavity of prop, then the plunger rise. After the prop makes the roof bar hang to the roof of working surface, the injection nozzle stops working, and the pressure of the cavity of the prop is the same as that of the pump, the initial supporting force is loaded on the roof. With the increase of coal-cutting area and the extension of propping time, the counterforce of working surface loaded on the prop increases. When the working pressure of top cover exceeds the rated operation load of the prop, the high-pressure fluid in the prop will open the relief valve of three use valve, then the fluid flowing out, the cavity pressure of prop decreases, at the same time the prop declines and the load of the prop diminishes, then the relief valve is closed, the fluid in the cavity stops flowing out. So the prop can keep the rated operation load unchanged, which therefore is called the constant resistance prop.
