Changde CRRC New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd is an automobile industry base, established after CRRC Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd (CRRC TEV) holdings Hunan Changde Dahoom Auto Group Co., Ltd. The business covers R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service of high-end passenger buses, trains, and auto spare parts.

In 2009, under the great attention and strong support of China Weapons Industry Group and leaders of Hunan Province, the company successfully introduced the core technology of monocoque body independent suspension, and A-arms for passenger buses in Europe. It was applied to passenger transport, tourism, public transportation, and community luxury bus/coach series.

In Dec., 2017, under the full support of the municipal party committee and municipal government and China CRRC Group, China CRRC¡¯s first-tier holding subsidiary, CRRC TEV and Dahoom Auto Group Co., Ltd. signed a holding agreement. After successfully creating the ¡±China High Speed Rail¡± world fame, the CRRC TEV has strongly entered the market of the traditional buses,  and has made every effort to create the second world fame with the ¡±new energy¡± + ¡±traditional buses¡± layout. On May 23, 2018, the company officially changed its name to Changde CRRC New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd.

The company has acquired 1,000 mu of land for the construction of a new energy vehicle industrial park. The CRRC has positioned the industrial park as a smart, eco-friendly and Eco-industrial park. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2019, when the capacity will increase to 10,000 new energy buses£¬diesel bus, and 500 trains. And it will be the largest production base of new energy buses and trains in Hunan.

In the future, the company will use CRRC TEV electric control and electric drive technology as its platform, and will continue to optimize the European bus body technology to create innovative products that are safe, comfortable, and cost-effective.
