Working principle of cooling tower:
By spraying the circulating water onto the glass fiber filler. The filler provides a larger contact surface, through the contact of water and air, to achieve heat exchange effect. Characteristics of counter flow cooling tower:
1. The water is in the packing in the tower, the water is from top to bottom, and the air is from bottom to top. The two flow to the opposite cooling tower.
2. The countercurrent cooling tower has good thermal performance and is divided into three cooling sections:
a. The space from the water distributor to the top of the packing, the water temperature in this section is high, so it can still transfer heat to the air.
b. Fill water and air heat exchange section.
c. Filling to the water spraying section of the sump space, where the water is cooled is called "tail effect". In northern China, the water temperature can drop 1-2 oC. In summary, under the same conditions of the counterflow tower and the crossflow tower, the packing volume is about 20% smaller, and the heat exchange process of the counterflow tower is more reasonable and high in cooling efficiency.
3. The water distribution system is not easy to be blocked, the water-filling filler is kept clean and is not easy to age, the moisture backflow is small, and the anti-freezing and deicing measures are easier. Multiple units can be combined. In winter, according to the required water temperature and water volume, a single unit can be combined or all fans can be turned off.
4. Easy installation and maintenance, low cost, commonly used in air conditioning and industrial large and medium-sized cooling circulating water.
The main application of cooling tower
