BelFone SDC Smart Digital Connect System
System Introduction
BelFone SDC system is a smart digital connect system based on ETSI DMR standards and is compatible with analog standards. Supporting both VHF and UHF bands, SDC is able to run at a 12.5 KHz channel spacing frequency, using TDMA 2 timeslots to provide versatile voice and data services for critical communications. The all-IP infrastructure of the system allows it to leverage a variety of networks, both public and private, to achieve extensive coverage.
System Architecture
Based on advanced DMR standard and technology, SDC uses the system server as a switch center and database for its versatile voice and data services. The system adapts the B/S structure which consists of link layer, network layer and application layer to deliver daily operation& staff management and critical communications.
System Design
- Customization: Provide customized system design for different users;
- Self-diagnostic: When an error is detected, the system will activate automatic reset, delivering more reliability;
- High Channel Efficiency: The increased frequency efficiency and smart system design aim to lower your operation costs;
- Great Flexibility: The system is compatible with a wide frequency range and versatile voice and data features. All system terminals are interconnected and communications are made easy and swift.
Smart Digital Management Platform
- Real-time Monitor: The system monitors all the voice communications in real-time, enabling the commander to have a realistic grasp of field operations. This greatly increases the accuracy and efficiency of team operations;
- Multi-channel Data Transmission: Ensure smooth communications between the dispatch center and field workers;
- Dispatch Center: The commander can initiate Individual Calls, Group Calls or All Calls to make dispatching work more targeted;
- Emergency Alert: When an emergency alert goes off, the commander can instantly locate the terminal/user and make the most efficient rescue dispatch.
Networking Mode
System Features
Flexible IP Networking
The all-IP infrastructure of the system allows the user to deploy devices and personnel anywhere within the network and achieve cross-regional communications. Network nodes can be added or removed with ease, which greatly facilitates network expansion through single site or IP multi-sites.
Real-time Positioning and Tracking
The system integrates GPS, GIS Map and RFID technology to deliver real-time positioning and tracking service. Through the dedicated timeslot for data service, all terminals automatically and constantly report their position information to the command center, which can be read and stored on the dispatcher platform. As the commander can track all movements of terminals on the GIS map, and can even restrict the movements of any specific terminal by setting Geo Fencing. Team management and personnel dispatching are more efficient.
Smart Dispatch and Team Management
Terminals are defined, grouped and assigned with different priority level according to the user’s place in the company hierarchy. The integrated GPS, RFID and GIS Map deliver visual management, so that the commander can make the best dispatch decision based on sound field information. All operations and events are stored in the system database, including radio power on/off records, working shifts, patrol records, voice recordings, GPS tracks, alarm records, etc. All this information can be easily accessed and exported in Excel format.
VoIP GW
The system PSTN gateway module enables system terminals to directly communicate with public network users. The commander can set a blacklist or whitelist for terminals. Only authenticated users are allowed to communicate in the network.
