Product Brief Introduction

The DDS601 static single phase two wire watt-hour meter adopts advanced MCU, electrical power measurement technologies and perfect anti-tampering design. The meter is firm designed to withstand
the rough handling in field.

Function Features

(1)Measure power energy and can calculate reverse electricity as
normal electric power;
(2)Few periphery component,simple structure,low power consumption;
(3)Adopt high reliability and long life electronic component,so the meter assumes feature of high reliability
and long life;
(4)adopts advanced microelectronics technology,large-scale integrated circuits and digital sampling
technology,do not need calibrate for long term operation
(5)The meter should be designed with ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) and should be
manufactured using SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components. Power supply and voltage divider
circuits may be of PTH (Pin Through Hole) technology
(6)ANTI-TAMPER FEATURES:The meter has the following anti-tamper features and can record & register
forward energy accurately under the following conditions:
(i)Input phase and neutral connections are interchanged.
(ii)Incoming mains is connected to outgoing terminals and load is connected to incoming terminals.
(iii) A combination of conditions (i) and (ii) occurs.
(iv) Load return is connected to a local earth and not returned to the meter as well as the phase and neutral
at supply side are reversed.
(v) A combination of `(ii) and (iv) or (iii) and (iv) occurs.
(vi)The meter should accurately measure energy in case of partial bypass of either phase or neutral
current.
(vii) A part of the load is returned to a local earth and the other part is returned to the meter.¡° Earth load
indication¡° should appear in display if difference of current between phase and neutral lies between 6% to
10%.
(viii) The meter can immune to tamper using external magnets.
(7)The meter is capable of performing complete self diagnostic check to monitor integrity of data memory
location at all time.
