A carbon monoxide alarm is an electrical signal that changes the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air via a carbon monoxide sensor.The strength of the electrical signal depends on the co concentration.

Built-in CR123A lithium battery and warns you when the battery is low.

In order to not disturb your rest, the products designed function of silence.

The test function of the product design is to test whether the product works properly by pressing the test button.Weekly testing is required.

Details of the product function:

Standby mode: after the product is installed, if the alarm device operate properly, the green LED flashes once approximately every 50 seconds;

Alarming mode: when the carbon monoxide alarm detects carbon monoxide and the carbon monoxide concentration reaches the alarm threshold, the LCD show “Hco”, the red LED flashes once every 0.8 second with the alarm sound of pulse type until the carbon monoxide disappears;

Low battery mode: when the battery voltage below threshold, the battery symbol will blank display on LCD. An intermittent “chirp” with yellow LED flashes once every 50 seconds;

Failure mode: when the alarm detects signal abnormal, the LCD show “Err”, the yellow LED of the alarm will flash twice approximately every 50 seconds and the horn will synchronize two "squeak" calls;

End of life: When the alarm is switched on for 10 years, the LCD show “End”, the yellow LED of the alarm will flash three times approximately every 50 seconds,the horn will synchronize three times"squeak" calls;

Silence mode: when the alarm is alarming, pressing the test button and the alarm will stop for about 8 minutes. At this time, red LED and green LED flash once synchronously every 8 seconds;

Test mode: test the unit to ensure proper operation by pressing and releasing the test button. At this time, the red LED will flash once per 0.8 second with pulsating alarm until test button is released;

NOTE: WEEKLY TESTING IS REQUIRED.
