2. Principle Of Plunger Pump:
The YB Series plunger pump is a type of positive displacement pump where the high-pressure seal is stationary and a smooth cylindrical plunger slides through the seal. It’s high pressure pump. Additionally the piston is made by ceramics and this pumps often used in ceramic industry, we also call it ceramic piston pump.
While working, the plungers are driven by hydraulic system to make reciprocating motion, thus to change the pump chamber, so that realize the material transportation. Some people also call plunger pump as plunger piston pump, in fact, it’s not right, because the plunger has a different structure with piston.
The material of ceramic plunger pump, contact material, can be customized, such as S.S.304. Plunger pump is wear-resisting. Comparing with centrifugal pump, plunger pump has suction (4-8 m, depend on the density of slurry). And it’s working pressure is adjustable and can be set via hydraulic vale. And it can endure higher temperature. Note: the plunger pump adopt water sealing.
