Fengine S4800 series gigabit switches (S4800) are leading Layer 2 intelligent manageable fixed-port devices developed by FiberHome for service providers and enterprise networks to meet the demands of high-bandwidth access and Ethernet multi-service aggregation. The S4800 provides a large switching capacity and high density GE ports. It can be deployed in various scenarios, such as access layer in enterprise networks which require Gigabit port to the desktop, as well as distribution layer in MANs. Combining the 10/100/1000 and Power over Ethernet (PoE), Fengine S4800 enhances end user’s connection convenience by enabling applications such as IP telephony, wireless and video.
