 Located in Dalian, Dalian Riqian Motor Co., Ltd is a joint venture engaged in many fields with fixed assets of RMB 24.5 million. It was reformed in 1999 and incorporated with Japan Ceatec Stock Corporation in 2003. The company covers an area of 45,000©O including building area of 25,000©O and has annual turnover of over RMB 100 million. We employ nearly 500 staff, 58 of which has senior title of professional post, 66 medium-grade title, and 108 bachelor’s degree above; all production and test personnel have at least received education in high school or technical secondary school, and strict training from experts of profound production and test experience before taking their positions. Our company is composed of Physical Distribution Equipment Department, Electric Motor Department and Electric Motor Maintenance Department. Electric Control Division : From the year 2005, our company began to research electric motors for open-pit excavators and roller drills. Two years later, we set up the Electric Control Department, specializing in the research of electric control equipment for open-pit excavators, roller drills, mine hoists, and rubber belt conveyors. Provided with a scientific research team made up of dozens of professors of engineering, and middle-aged and young experts, our company boasts the domestically advanced research capacity in the field of electric control in terms of open-pit excavators, roller drills, mine hoists, and rubber belt conveyors. Our company is the only one in China that develops open-pit excavators and roller drills integrating electric motors and electric control.

Electric Motor Department: based on excellent R&D strength and powerful production capacity of the precursor of Dalian Riqian Motor Co., Ltd, its serial electric motors have reached domestic advanced level in terms of technical indicator and quality. Its products are ISO9001:2000 certified and sold in mine, metallurgy, steel, transport, rubber-plastic machinery and light machinery industry. There are four sales branches. In 2005 it released Hitachi electric shovel motor which accounted for 65% market share compared with like products in the next year.

In October 2006, it reached agreement with Japan Toshiba Locomotive & Car Co., Ltd to process DJ3 locomotive parts. The capacity, 50 machines each month, will be available in April 2007. It is a steppingstone for Riqian to enter international advanced electric motor technology field.
Electric Motor Maintenance Department: by means of advantage of electric motor production, the department assumes maintenance of imported and home produced high-voltage motor, manufacturing of high tension coil and electrode & voltage modification of large and medium sized AC motors. It is an industry of high added value and owns a large number of customers in the three provinces of Southeast China.
