It not only can cut at any position of the fish during cutting operation independently, but also can connected the releasing spear above it. After cutting is finished the pipe string above cutting position the cutter can be lifted out at the same time.

An indicator signals through pump pressure and stabilizer slip keeps the cutter anchored in the casing, when the cut is completed. The pistons are designed to force the slips to firmly anchor the tool before the knives contacting the casing.
