Founded in 1998, LORIC Import & Export Corp., Ltd. is engaged in selling locomotives and rolling stocks, metro cars, light rail vehicles, railway cranes and related components, as well as industrial material, spare parts, equipment, castings and forgings; importing raw material, equipment and technology; contracting overseas projects and sending labors abroad. While contributing to society by offering high quality products and excellent service, the company supplies the world locomotives and rolling stock products with value-added, also export labor-intensive products such as forgings and castings. LORIC Import & Export Corp., Ltd. grew out of Head Office of former China National Railway Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Corporation (LORIC) that was responsible for organizing and managing foreign trade business of China railway vehicle industry. It is playing an increasingly important role in pushing China’s railway industrial products into the world market. From 1992 to 2005, the company was in charge of or involved in a lot of contracts either in overseas or in domestic under bid procurement of foreign loans. The total contract are included 70 electric locomotives, 311 diesel locomotives, 1019 passenger coaches, 852 metro cars, 174 multiple units, 5,935 freight wagons, 28 railcars and 8 railway diesel cranes, as well as 40 liquid tank containers. Overseas marketing activities continued to be concentrated mainly on core markets in Asia, North America, Australia and Africa. Products are warmly welcomed there
