Dual-wall Drilling Rods (also called RC Drill Rods)comprises and outer and inner pipe with a sealing system to keep the drill string pressurized. Air is blown between the walls of the inner and outer pipes down to the hammer while the air forces the cuttings back up through the center of the inner piper.
