1. Introduction ●IC card Pre-paid Gas Meter can be used in calculating petro-gas, natural gas, oil-gas and other kind of gas. It is a kind of automatic gas meter equipped with electronic control device on the basis of diaphragm gas meter, which complies with the national standard GB/T6968-97 (class B) and OIML-R31. ●This kind of gas meters enjoy the features of residual gas indication, automatic detection of valve, anti-magnetic & anti-unauthorized card attacks, leakage protection, Gas Theft-proof, and alarming of under-voltage of battery. ●Almost all the gas companies have difficulty with collecting fees from every consumer, but the appearance of IC card Pre-paid gas meter and advanced Gas Selling Management System are convenient to numerous gas companies for reducing the cost, labor intensity and promoting the after-sale service, efficiency and management. 2. 4. Others
4.1 Security Sealing : Index and other parts where necessary are properly sealed with lead embossed with manufacturers Trade mark to prevent any unauthorized tampering.
4.2 Card Reader : The meter has the RF Card reader device (RF -chip) with high registrant to magnetic interference.
4.3 Material

4.4 Configuration of the Meter Body :
(a) Body halves are folded to form hermetically sealed joint at it halves

4.5 Index :
(a) Digital Display type, direct reading in M3 as per OIML-R-31 recommendations.
(b) All of the extreme right digits after the decimal point are provided with the light barrier point/dots to test the meter accuracy at computerized calibration bench.
(c) LCD display: To display the information of the RF card, message and others.
(d) Index box: Is secured and sealed against any illegal access.
4.6 Power supply:
(a) Battery operated. 1AALithium/Mn or 3AA Alkaline butteries.
(b) Service life 10 years.
(c) Battery life, 5 years.
4.7 IC Chip:
(a) The meter accepts the RF Pre-paid card.
(b) The RF Chip will generate alarm and make the system in operative to protect it from per-set minimum and maximum gas flow rate.
(c) It will store accumulated consumed gas, last prepaid volume, volume of gas as a balance left, card number, meter number etc.
(d) Once after inserting the RF Pre-paid Card, one can start use of gas. It will take the total volume of gas and then the card would be disposed off.
(e) Once the meter runs out of gas (or the RF Chip has no amount left), the value will be closed instantly to stop the flow gas.
(f) The RF card cannot be pulled out until the storage of card-value. After completion of storage the RF card-value it would be ejected automatically.
(g) When the remaining volume is less than 6m3 (six meter cube), the meter will give alarm to indicate that there is not enough volume of gas left. Whenever at this critical limit, further gas is used by the customer, the meter will give alarm for each 1 (one) m3 and for every 0.1 m3 interval of the last cubic meter left.
(h) In case of illegal gas use or meter by-passing the gas flow will be stopped automatically.
(i) The meter will have outlet pressure sensor-if the meter is dismantled, the motor valve inside the meter will be closed automatically and store the record in the meter. The meter would not be reusable without the help of Gas Company personnel.
(j) Automatically adjust the unit price in accordance with the pre-paid card.
(k) Multiprogramming & encryption technique.
(l) Voltage sensitivity-for lower voltage the function of valve closes.
(m) Storing capacity is 300 SM3 of gas.
