It is the supporting vehicle of the locomotive, which is used for slag transport in construction.

 Series ZT muck truck is mainly comprised of bogie, frame and slag hopper etc.

(1) Bogie: it is the running mechanism of the muck truck; every muck truck is equipped with two bogies, which are comprised of side frame, crossbeam, wheel set, spring, braking system and other such components. During the operation, the muck truck will change its direction through the center plate and reduce the vibration through the springs. The mode of exhaust braking is adopted, i.e. the braking will be realized by the spring in the brake cylinder to propel the brakes shoe through the leverage when the train pipe pressure is lower than 0.4MPa. The lower the system pressure is, the greater the braking force will be. The brake shoe will be relieved if the train pipe pressure reaches 0.4MPa.

 (2) Frame: the frame is connected with core box of the bogie through bolting, with convenient disassembly. Both ends shall be equipped with shaft-pin traction connection device, to connect the vehicle with the locomotive.

 (3) Slag hopper: it has no mechanical connection with the chassis and enables direct hoisting and convenient unloading; all edges and corners of the slag hopper are of arc transition, which can effectively reduce the slag remaining on the sharp corners; when the slag hopper is placed on the frame, guide blocks on four corners of the frame can guarantee the accurate falling of the bucket. One side and both ends of the slag hopper are equipped with unloading pins, which are adaptable to two forms of slag dumping, i.e. overhand hanger or ground support.
