KEMA report peroxide-cured EPDM 200A 25/35kV fully insulated and shielded less than USD200
The CEE JDT-25/200 Grounding Elbows have become part of the preferred operating procedure for deadfront underground systems because they take advantage of the fault close-in characteristics of loadbreak terminators. It is the essential component for testing the cables and underground apparatus.
A Grounding elbow can be used either itself or with a 200A,25kV Class rated Loadbreak Bushing Insert, Rotatable Feedthru to visibly ground cables, transformers and switchgear. A grounding elbow at each end of a cable will isolate and ground the cable and keep bushings free from moisture and contamination during the grounding operation.
The grounding elbow is molded of high quality orange insulating rubber and features a copper connector and tin plated copper probe complete with an arc follower tip. A 2-metre length of 600 volt insulated, flexible stranded copper ground cable is included. Determine whether the circuit is de-energized. Attach the ground cable to the system ground. Use a hot-stick to attach the grounding elbow to the mating apparatus.
