Sky shuttle” alternating current drive high-speed passenger transport electric locomotive is used for the passenger transport on the main line. It has many advantages, such as good run performance, small energy consuming, weak electromagnetism interfere, good dependability and convenient repair. The power-factor approaches 1 at the conditions of traction and braking. Compare with the traditional phase-control locomotive, it can reduce the 20% electric current of the contact net and the 50% power consuming, moreover, the capacity of the traction transformer substation can be reduced down. It feedback 10~40% energy to the electric net because of using regeneration breaking, that the electric energy’s quality is good. Quasi-streamliner, good-sized interlayer top cover and trunk ground frame compose the car body of light weighting unitarily load bearing framework, which not only meets the requirement of integration and modularization of the equipment, but ensure the modularization of body design in terms of enough strength condition.
