The sharp part of the edge of the thread at the underside of the gauges for checking lampholders E40 shall be broken with a radius of 0.5mm + 0.05mm.

Purpose: To check the minimum dimension of the lampholder screw thread and dimension X shown on sheet 7005-20.

Testing: It shall be possible to screw the gauge into the lampholder without using undue force.
(For the torque to be applied in case of doubt, see IEC 238,subclause 4.4)
