The Anfu Temple 500kV substation

Anfu Temple 500kV substation is located in Yiling District of Yichang City, north of the Anfu Sizhen center is approximately 7.5km. The station is located in the main channel of Three Gorges power delivery, have an extremely important position in the Hubei power grid and even the Central China Power Grid. It's built to meet the Yichang City, Yichang, the northern power grid load needs of the development; create the conditions for long-term the Yichang grid and Jingmen, Jingzhou grid solution ring, slice supply of the the Yichang internal grid;, but also sharing the Jiangling 500kV converter stations supply pressure to limit the Three Gorges near short circuit current to create the conditions.
