Since 2008, Shanghai Electric has undertaken engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the 400kV power transmission project for Ethiopia’s Beles-Bahir Dar-Debre Markos-Addis Ababa power line. Responsibilities of the Company included building a 400kV substation, installing 490 km of power transmission lines and respective prospecting and design work, the manufacture of equipment, procurement of materials, commodity inspections, shipment and insurance, construction work, installation and debugging, support of work quality inspections and the approval process, training of end users and rendering service during warranty periods. | Since 2006, Shanghai Electric has been engaged in nine 220kV power transformation EPC engineering projects in Sudan.For the third Roseires-Khartoum power transmission line, the company has participated in the engineering projects for five transformer substations located at Roseires, Rabak, Mashkour, Jabel, and Aulia.For the Rabak-Elobaida power transmission line, the company has taken part in the engineering of three transformer substations, namely Um Rwaba, EIRahad, and EIObaid, together with the 220kV double-loop partition project in the Rabak substation.Lastly, the Freezone 220kV power transformation project of the Giri PhaseⅡ2*55MW power plant for petroleum coke in Giri, Sudan |
