The WLAN / GPRS seamless roaming solution consists of three parts: WAS (WLAN Access Server), iGGSN and the MIC.
1. WAS (WLAN Access Server) / MDS
WAS is based on the ASB MDS platform (Mult-access Data Server) developed for WLAN and GPRS to achieve seamless access to the server. WAS has been deployed in the mobile operator's network, and as a mobile hotspot gateway between mobile networks, WLAN and mobile networks to link the main node. WAS is also used to centrally store user data files, users of WLAN and GPRS to provide a unique user subscription information.
