In 2001, the company exported 175 passenger trains to Pakistan with the total amount of nearly US$100 million; in 2002, the passenger car parts were exported for Teheran subway, totally about US$40.13 million; in 2006, 100 passenger cars to Sri Lanka, the total amount over US$24 million; in 2007, 278 passenger cars to Iran, the total amount US$178 million; in the same year, CMC also exported 112 railway container flat cars to Thailand.
Meanwhile, CMC still exports tamping machine, axle temperature detector, detection vehicle for electrical network contact, electric railway movement apparatus and other railway products, railway apparatus and spare parts to a lot of countries, with the export value of over US$600 million.
For over 50 years, CMC has introduced a large number of the advanced technology and relevant whole sets of processing lines for the fields of railway, subway and light rail to domestic provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions with the import value of about US$6 billion. The chief projects we covered include Guangzhou Subway, Nanjing Subway, Shanghai Light Rails, as well as many railways in China.
