8 Years life design

Champion NPL Series is designed for 8 years life. For this long life purpose, The plates are made by developed alloy which is more effectual for preventing corrosion. At the same time, we also according the percentage of alloy change the outlook and dimension of grid wire. It will give batteries more effective radius for chemical reaction. For this long life design life battery, new features include handles for easy lifting, copper terminals for higher current capacity and reduced damaged during transportation, designed to comply with EUROBAT (draft IEC 896-2), IEEE, JIS and BS 6290 Part4, using UL certified components.

New Grid wire design for 8 years deign

¡ÎThe black wire is the design for 5 years batteries. After we change the alloy form Sn-0.8% into Sn-1.8% the cross sectional area (CSA) of the small horizontal wires is too small. (As the black wire)

¡ÎIn order to achieve a 8+ year design life, using this alloy,  the grid wire CSA must be increased . We change the outlook and dimension of black wire into blue one so that the effective radius will be increased.

¡ÎAlso for some of batteries, we change the black radius into the red radius. The function of this change is same as above.

¡ÎLong life design

  NPL Series of Champion batteries are long life design batteries. Normally in the alloy of plate, the percentage of Tin is 8%. For this batteries, we double the percentage of Tin in the alloy. Also we change the percentage the percentage of Ca in this alloy.

¡ÎValve Regulated Construction (Sealed)

  NPL Series of Champion batteries are of the AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) valve regulated (sealed) lead acid rechargeable type. The electrolyte is suspended in a specially formulated non woven glass mat separator. All the electrolyte is absorbed in this manner and provides a safe non-spillable battery.

¡ÎGas Recombination System

  The gasses generated in the normal charge/discharge use of a rechargeable battery are internally recombined during normal operating parameters. In the fact in normal operational use, more than 99% of the gasses generated are recombined.

¡ÎSafety and Automatic Valve System

  If the pressure is over 2-5 psi the safety valve will automatically open and reseal. This promise that there is no any excessive accumulation if gas in the battery.

¡ÎHeavy Duty Grids

  The grids are made by heavy duty lead calcium tin alloy. This provides: Safety margin of performance condition, Excellent recovery capacity from deep discharge, Extra service life in either cycle or float application, Low self-discharge when it is not in working.

¡ÎFloat Service life of battery

  NPL Series of Champion batteries is designed for float life of 8 years at 20¡ãC(68¡ãF).

¡ÎOperation in any position

  Because Champion batteries are sealed and all the acid is absorbed in the special separators, these batteries can be operated in both vertical and horizontal position.

¡ÎWide Operation Temperature Range

  Champion batteries can be used in wide temperature range from -35¡ãC to 45¡ãC.

¡ÎAvailable in flame retardant ABS material for the battery case V0

  Champion batteries cases can be make by flame retardant material V0. It depends on the requirement of customer.
