On December 13, 2021, the 4th Franco-Chinese Business Council Official Meeting was held online. Vice Premier of the State Council Hu Chunhua and French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire both attended the Closing Ceremony of the Meeting. The Meeting was co-hosted by MOFCOM and French Ministry for the Economy and Finance. Chinese and French government agencies and 32 Council Members from both sides attended the online meeting and had discussions on six major topics, namely financial cooperation, green and smart manufacturing, consumption and services, low-carbon energy, Franco-Chinese cooperation and third market, and energy transition. The Meeting consolidated bilateral cooperation consensus, and contributed Franco-Chinese wisdom to a joint response to global challenges. The discussions were chaired by CCCME Vice President Liu Chun and the Secretary-General of the Franco-Chinese Business Council  Sybille Dubois-Fontaine Turner.
